Parish Tree Warden - Vacancy

Our tree warden, David Cheale, is retiring from the above post at Christmas after performing the task for many years. The Parish Council would be pleased to hear from any keen amateur or professional arborist who would be interested in occupying this voluntary but vital role in our parish. Duties would include routine inspection of protected and unprotected trees; advising on action that may be thought necessary to maintain the quality and quantity of our woody friends and reporting periodically to Parish Council meetings on actions performed. Some training would be provided by Worcestershire County Council's coutnryside team.
