Tariff for the Hire of Village Hall Facilities

The Village Hall is let in accordance with the Safety and Letting Regulations, enclosed with each letting agreement. The charges listed below may be subject to alteration at the direction of the Village Hall Committee. Hourly Rates when available are in brackets.

Commercial - means any business usage involving sales, auctions, displays etc to the public.

The Tariffs include the Central Heating, but do not include any crockery or cutlery, which is available for a separate hire fee. Under current Health and Safety regulations towels and dishcloths must now be the Hirer's responsibility to avoid any cross contamination.

MAIN HALL (approx. 15.4 m. x 9.3 m.) & KITCHEN

HOURLY RATES - where available will be pro rata plus 20% as shown in brackets.

DISCOUNTS on the above rates for Main Hall & Second Hall:

Regular User (8 times annually or more) 33.33% discount
Development Groups within Hanley Castle Parish eg. Playgroups etc. for under 18 age group 50% discount
(Only one discount is available per booking)

BAR FACILITIES

The hall is licensed for the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises under the Licensing Act 2003.

For a fee of £25 per occasion, the hirer may supply alcohol for consumption only on the premises but may not make a charge for such supply.
In all cases where alcohol is to be sold (rather than provided free), for the above fee the Village Hall committee will, at its sole discretion and subject to availability, provide the necessary staff and bar stocks so as to maintain compliance with the objectives of the Licensing Act 2003.
All proceeds from the sale of alcohol will be to the benefit of hall funds.
At least one month's notice of the booking is needed if a 'paid-for' bar facility is required.
Special hiring conditions will apply for bookings which involve the sale and/or consumption of alcohol.

Use of Showers with Second Hall £6.00 (Regular Users £4.00)

Committee Room Only £2.50 per hour + heating by £1 meter

Special Events eg. New Years Eve - by arrangement

Car Park Only £5.00 per session (subject to availability)

The Committee reserve the right to revise tariffs, charge an hourly rate or agree special rates.
