Village Society  
  Over 50 people attended the inaugural meeting of a village society on 13 June 2003. Initiated by Peter Ewence, it followed a successful History Weekend held in the Village Hall earlier in the year.

Hanley's Garden Club    
 

Welcome to everyone who is interested in our new Club.

As a result of our first meeting we have decided the following:

The club will meet once a month for 10 months of the year. In May, June, July, and September we will meet in a member's garden. The other months we will meet in the Second hall at Hanley Swan Village Hall at 7.30 pm.

Membership Annual fee £5.00 per person

Visitors £1.00 per meeting

Refreshments Members to pay for what they consume and bring their own glasses or mugs.

Equipment needed – when the club meets in a member's garden, please bring your own chair.

Selling or Swopping Garden related items – Members to do this at all meetings free of charge. Non-members to pay 20% to the club.
