Parish Council Clerk - Vacancy

The Parish Coucnil seeks a part-time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) to work an average of 30 hours/month. The role will include at least 10 evening meetings per annum, attendance at the annual Parish Meeting, managing the Lengthsman's contract, occasional training and ad-hoc assignments. As the Council's RFO, the successful applicant will also be responsible for managing the Parish Council's accounts.

Hanley Castle is a Quality Parish Council and thus applicants will already hold or be willing to obtain in the very near future the Certificate in Local Council Administration; be flexible in approach to their work and be computer literate.

NALC LC1 Part-time scales will apply.
