This site has been created to help disseminate information about the workings of the local community and particularly the Parish Council. The Council recognises that the electronic age is here to stay and that having a web site is an excellent way of making sure that its affairs are very visible to anyone who might be interested. On this site's pages will be published anything and everything that the Parish Council has to do with the local community and the management of the services provided locally, as well as items of more general interest.

Currently, it comprises subject matter provided by your parish councillors and is put together by unpaid volunteers (to save money!) who do not claim to be professional in this field, so apologies for dodgy presentation are offered in advance. Hopefully things will improve with practice!

As the site develops, we hope to include much more information than is presented in the current pages, so if you have anything to contribute which has relevance to either Hanley Castle or Hanley Swan, please get in touch.
